People like Barbara, caring for her husband Ted, who described the Memory Care Alliance as a godsend. At the Alliance, we gave them accurate information about Ted's illness and increasing care needs, advice on how to create a care-plan for the whole family, and above all offered both Barbara and Ted social support, encouragement and community they so desperately needed. And since her husband's death, as a volunteer, Barbara is now using her experience to support and guide others.
